Important question regarding birds and paint

Where the birds and I currently live... another room in the building (about 1 hallway and 2 rooms away,) a room is going to be painted. I remember reading stories about how birds have died, even after being removed from the building. Well, as soon as I found out paint was going to be used, I took my birds to a friend's house, 45 minutes away. The room will be painted tomorrow (Monday) some time, and I was wondering if it'd be safe to bring the birds back on Tuesday evening. I really don't want put my babies in harm. Thanks for reading.

Paint fumes aren't nearly as strong as they used to be, they'll be fine.
