On my way home from my mother-in-law's house, I happened upon a kitten in the middle of the highway. He was obviously injured so I took him home and my cat didn't care too much for it, but I plan on taking it to the vet to make sure it gets taken care of. It's moving around, but it has rectal damage for sure. I managed to get it to eat something and I am so glad my husband suggested I have it checked out.I hope to keep the little sucker. It all depends on George, my 20 lb cat. He's very territorial. Does anyone have any advice on how I can get him to accept this kitten. Sure would appreciate it.

I agree with Barbara, take him to the vet as soon as possible, he may be in pain.

Anyway, I managed to find a nice home for miss kitty and I plan on checking up on her soon to see how she's doing. I feel bad because I couldn't keep her, but I guess I can't keep every stray that comes along.

Hoping all goes well with him!
