My brother is fixing to move up there, going to be joining their police force. Just wondered if there was anybody on here that lives up that way in case the needed help finding things.... They are frantically looking for a home up there.

Ah, well they could probably contact my parents in Pendleton. My dad is extremely familiar with the area because he has an obsession/hobby which is fishing and that is a place where a lot of folks go. Yep. There's a cheese factory there too.

They already do love it, he has been up there several time already for the job interview and looking at houses and she has a brother or two that lives there but they are having a hard time finding a house and they are closing on his house down here at the end of the month and will be packing up and driving across country WITH their 2 cats and as of right now, they don't have a HOUSE up there! Those kitties need a HOME to go to and so do their humans.

I was hoping there was a PT'er there that would know of a house for sale that wasn't on the open market yet or a place they could rent until they found a house to buy so they wouldn't have to unload the moving van into a strorage unite and could get the cats settled into their new home asap.

How about posting a thread in PT General where you might get a larger response, and possibly someone who can help with finding a house. Or are you concerned about your brother buying a house from a reptile owner?!

They would probably LOVE help with the driving... Looks like about a 4 day trip with a big moving truck for him to drive and she drive the SUV with the screaming cats. She has real concerns about the one that has seizures and how terrorized he is of cars but she said she KNOWS he would just die if they rehomed him down here to save him the trip. The vet is working with her on meds to calm both the cats for the trip and I told her to get them micro chipped before they leave. (She had not thought of doing that yet)
