Do you believe in the Urban legends?

Do you believe in the "Urban Legend" creatures? Such as, the lochness monster, Yetti,Big foot, and Jersey Devil. I really don't know if I do. But do you?

The Loch Ness monster and Yetti predate the term Urban Legend, and are neither urban nor modern. They're just plain legends.

Urban Legends are made up stories that get passed around and some people believe, an oldie from the days of beehive hairdos is that a girl did her hair up in a "beehive" style, and a spider got in there, and she sprayed it with so much hairspray (so she didn't have to wash her hair) that the spider couldn't get out and laid its eggs in there, and she died from a million spider bites when they hatched.

I love reading Urban Legends and other legends such as the Loch Ness Monster. Most urban legends, like the truck driver flashing the lights to stop an ax murderer in the backseat of the car in front of him, I don't believe. I have read some though that I've believed could have been true or that I *wished* could have been true. There is a college urban legend where a kid in an lecture class of about 200 people keeps writing in his blue book after the test is over. When the professor tells him to stop, the kid says "Do you know who I am? Do you know who my father is?!" When the professor says no, the student replies, "Good!" and thrusts his blue book in the middle of the pile. That's one of my favorite legends and one I would have loved to be true just for the horrible fun of it.

It really depends on the legend. If it can be proven as patently ridiculous (like saying "Bloody Mary" three times in a dark bathroom with the water running and having her appear in the mirror) then no.
If it is something that no one has been able to disprove, I keep an open mind

There have been some supposed Big Foot sightings here recently. Like, one farmer was watching one walk across his field. The Big Foot just put his hands on the fence posts and stepped right over.

I guess, to an extent, I believe in some legends. Loch Ness, Big Foot, yes.

That's basically how I think too. I can say that I don't believe in urban legends, and for the most part I don't, but I'm sure there are some that I'd probably believe.

I know a woman who is very superstitious and believes almost everything she hears. She is afraid of going out when there is a full moon, she believes they are bad luck. I can't remember all the crazy things that she's told me since I've known her. She will tell you that Big Foot lived in Canada, but walked to Florida and now lives in our county.

What about El Chupacabra? Does anyone believ in that? I think it is a wolf or dog of some sort not some big hairy creature. Some of the others mentioned like Nessie I think there might be something to them.

I'm pretty undecided. I would like to think that there is a loch ness monster, as it would be absolutely amazing to see, but the legend has been around for such a long time that I wonder if Nessie could live that long . There are 'big cat' sightings in the south of England, but I don't know whether that is true. And there are many people who believe in crop circles, but since those men who fooled everyone (forgotten their names) showed the world how easy it was to make them, I don't think I believe in them, although I do belive in life on different planets.
