    FINALLY!! Pictures of my horse!

    Here are some pictures of my 19 year old Trakehner, Tralee. She has been having a little time off because of lameness problems. Two weeks ago she got cast in her stall, and is still sore from that. We believe from the stress of bing cast is what caused her to same a small bout of Lamanitis.
    Here is a picture of the cut from her getting cast, it has healed up very well and is starting to grow hair.








    Here is a picture of my mom riding her horse, Cosmo. I put the stamp on her face for privacy.

    She is gorgeous! I'm usually not that fond of solid-colored horses, but she really stands out for some reason.

    Thank you!! I love her color as well, when it hits the sun it is just beautiful! There is a saying about how red horses always are a hot and spicy, Tralee fits that and I will never buy a chestnut mare again. She sometimes can be so hard to ride and I get so frusterated with her, several times I have come very close to deciding to sell her, but she has such a sweet affectionate temperment. FOr the photo shoot I put her in one of the bg pens and I had trouble taking oictures of her because she kept following around, which is a good thing. Every time I would go out of sight she would trot around and neigh.

    I was teasing my mom yesterdday because Cosmo isn't completely shed out, and Tralee started shedding on the coldest day of the year, and shed out completely months ago. Off course she wears a weatherbeta heavy weight blanket, and if needed another layer underneath that.
