First attempt at cake decorating.. Do you like?

I found the instructions to make this "cake" and thought that it would be perfect for Tyler's birthday party. It looks like a cake, but is actually a bunch of cupcakes. Instead of "cutting the cake" at his party, we'll just pull it apart. I think it's not too bad for a first attempt trial run

It's supposed to be a turtle, can you tell?

    It looks great!

And I think it's a really good idea for a party cake - being able to just pull it apart and all. Sounds neat!

The sweetiest cake I ever had was one my kids (when they were small) made and decorated a cake for me for my birthday and they did a amazing job on the decorating.. I use to make and decorate... still do on the boat I work on.
