Photography

Next year I've signed up for digital photography for high school. I'm hoping I will become half as good as you photography people this coming year. We will be taking pictures and using photoshop. What all can you do on photoshop? Isn't that how you make siggys? I wish I could make them at school although I probably won't have time. Anyways, thought I'd blab about it!

How fun! Its interesting to see how schools have changed with the times. When I was in high school (a mere three years ago) they did not have any digital photography classes. Then again I have always wanted to develop my own pictures.

Cool! I wish my school had that! We have black and white film classes and 1/2 our grade is developing the pics and printing them with the right ammount of contrast, lights/darks, no scratches or marks, etc.
Photoshop is really fun to learn. I didn't find it frustrating at all.

I took photography next year too but we dont use digi cameras we use old fashion ones.

"Old fashion" as in 35mm?? Hardly old fashioned lol

It would be fun to learn with older cameras too, though. Especially those ones they used in the 30's or whatever. Thanks for the replies.

Photoshop isn't that hard, IMO. I still have quite a few things to learn about it, but the basics are simple. I wish we had a Photography class, I would be in it in an instant. We only have sucky classes
