    Visa's show *pictures*

We had a sanction match in Kamloops this weekend. We did pretty well, there were two matches -- the first we took Best of Breed and a Group Third and the second we took Best of Breed and a Group Second, beating the GSD puppy that beat us the first match.

Here are some pics. That is me handling her.

    Collecting our ribbon..

    More coming..

Here are some of the other Belgians..

Here are her ribbons. We were supposed to get 8, but the judge forgot one lol.

Visa also tested CERF clear. We had alot of fun. One of the judges said that a dog has never given her goosebumps, and Visa gave her goosebumps when she moved. She said that if we keep working on her ring temperment she will be best in show quality. I decided not to enter her in the obedience trial, we're going to take some competitive lessons first. We have another sanction match coming up at the end of the month, hopefully it is even nicer than this one. Hope you enjoyed.

Cool photos Congrats on the wins! That's a really nice compliment that the judge gave Visa!

The male she'll be bred to is a very nice looking boy.

Oh, and I really like your outfit!

Congrats Visa and Jordan!! She is such a beautiful girl. I have never seen a Belgian before in peron. I have always liked the Malinois myself. Thought maybe I would want one in the future but I already have an ACD and 2 herding dogs might be a little much for me. Back to topic, great job you 2 and the male is very handsome, can't wait till we get puppy pics from those 2.

Yup, all of her puppies will be black. It is impossible for her to have tervuren (longhair coloured) puppies because both of her parents were groenendaels (longhair black). Marla (her breeder) is getting a groen puppy in the fall that came out of both a terv and a groen, so if he breeds with a terv or a groen that also came out of a terv, he will be able to produce terv pups. She could produce malinois though (shorthair) if she were bred to a malinois. I'm not sure how laekenois (wirehair) genetics work, but I do believe she could produce laeken. But just groenendaels for her --- AKC recognises the varieties as different breeds, so they have produced different temperments and looks over the years, and we prefer the groenendaels.
