    Ta Da!!!!!

    The nursery is DONE! Woohoooooooo!

We will complete it with a few small blankets and trinkets I know we'll get from the shower, but its done. Whew!

So, please come for a visit and see the nursery. Sorry if there are a lot of photos.

    As you enter the room

a view showing the stars we hung to hide the ugly ceiling

closeup of the stars (yes, they're glittery )

sitting on the bed - Harry in the window

Harry being silly in the window

Harry "No I wasn't in the crib"

(PS: We have a casualty on the mobile -- the moon needs to be reaatached.)

Sittig on the bed looking at the shelves

Sitting on the bed looking towards the closets --- my favorite part is the french tackboard I made from stuff laying around the house!

And my ugly microwave cart thats been given a new life:

side detail where we added the curtain fabric to soften it up (excuse the Harry butt)

"Flutter's Toy chest" with Pouncer testing the comfort level - its apparently pretty comfy

The paw prints left behind from painting --- we kept them on purpose

From crib side, looking at the bookcase

Now.... all we need a baby.

Kim and Ashley, that is fantastic! You guys are WAY better than the television shows where they re-do rooms in 48 hours. You deserve an award for such an adorable nursery, one any baby would be blessed to call his/her own!

    Now, come on baby!

What a gorgeous room! So bright and cheery. And I love how the cats helped out.

Actually, yes I do. I'm an interior designer. Does it show?

The whole room cost $250 to do, including the new crib and all of Ashley's bedding -- those two took up the majority of cost. We were talking last night and wished we kept the reciepts to prove it. Most everything was something we already had and was repainted/reupholstered.

What a fantastic job you have done in decorating the nursery. It really is lovely. Everything is so coordinated. Good job.

GORGEOUS!! That room looks amazing, I can't believe that you did it that fast and so cheap! Ok, Kim, when I have a baby you are just going to have to drive on out to the other side of PA and do my nursery!

WOW, You guys did a great job on the nursery. Love how the colors you picked are unisex for the baby.
That's a great room for the new mom (Ashley) and the baby to be.
    Good job!
