    Webbed feet?

What breeds of dogs have webbed feet? I was under the impression (or assumption I guess) that only retrievers and water dogs (like Portuguese water dog, etc) had webbed feet....but are there others?

I ask because this darling little girl (her name is Shammy) is at the shelter and while playing with her today I noticed that she has webbed feet!!

(not the best picture of her, I got it off the website, forgot my camera )

But she doesn't look to be mixed with any "water dogs"!!

well eventually all dogs toes will be connected with skin and fur (that you can sort of feel underneath until it hits bone, but not technically considered webbbed. A webbed foot has a web that extends almost out unto the toenail area. And yes, there are only a few breeds that technically meet that description - mostly water dogs.

Shammy looks like a brindled Pit Bull? Webbed feet can also simply be a malformation too - like six toes, dewclaws or lack of, etc..

There's a fine line between what is actually considered webbed and what is the normal skin between the toes. To me, they are almost all "webbed", it wasn't until I was playing with my grandma's toy poodle/yorkie when I realized there are some dogs with no skin between their feet. I've met several water retrievers who don't have webbing out to the ends of their toes.

I notice Molli has really webbed feet and Sma has kinda webbed feet. I know Cockers don't have webbed feet, so I think alot of dogs seem like they do. Molli's is webbed almost to the end of the toe.
