Twenty-eight years ago.....

I gave birth to my second child, our only son, Rob. For those of you who don't know, he died this past summer. Tomorrow will be a sad day for Carl, me, Amy (Cincy'mom), her husband, Ralph, Christy (Dakota's mommy), her husband Brian and Jasmine, her daughter.

He has such a silly little boy, always talking and being silly. He grew into a quiet, shy, very smart teenager and then into a handsome, beautiful young man. We still don't know what happened, why he died when he did. We only know we will miss him every day the rest of our lives.

Happy Birthday, Rob!! We miss you and love you. Mom & Dad

My thought are with you. I too, lost a son when he was 17 years old. His cause of death was unknown and that was the hardest part. He hadn't been well for 2 years prior to his death and I kept taking him to the doctor and she kept telling me he was doing it for attention and I knew he wasn't. Test after test came up with nothing... Then he died.... still don't know why. So, I know your pain. He would have been 40 last December 22.
