My fish had babies... advice needed

We got a couple of fish yesterday at our local PetSmart. Everything was fine and they settled in nicely. Well today as I fed them this morning I saw baby fish. There are about 10 babies. I'm not sure who had them or what. I took them out and put them in a 1 gallon aquarium. It is just temporary until they get a little bigger. I didn't want to leave them in the big tank because we have some pretty big fish in there. Well I just need some advice on the proper care of these baby fish. Thanks

I took a few pictures and a short video of them. Nothing special and very poor quality.

Well, in order to tell you how to properly care for them, why don't you tell us what sort they are? What types of female live-bearers were in the tank?

And good thinking removing them... they would have been good snacks otherwise!

    Yup, what Sophist said!

And if you don't know what kind they are, could you post a clear, close up photo of one of them for ID?

Well I tried again and couldn't get a good picture. I have tiger barbs, and a couple from here
    including the molly, and guppy.

we have all three species in the attached photo.

Well I managed to get a pretty good pic of them. They are all in the back of the tank.

Tiger barbs would lay eggs. From the pics (which aren't great guides) I'd put my money on them being mollies (the ones pictured at the bottom of your post are sailfin mollies). Mollies are pretty hardy as far as fry go, so they're pretty good starters.

Here's a decent page on their care: http://groups.msn.com/Breedingtropic...ngmollies.msnw

Unless you have more than one guppy, those will be molly babies. The mollies will reproduce all the time so you might want to let the next batch of fry stay in the big tank. The big fish will thin out the flock and keep them at a managable level hopefully.
