Need advice and names

Me and my 6 year old have a kitten that is 7 months old and we just got another one on Easter. Myles (7mo. old) keeps swatting at the little one and rolling him. How long does that last and will they ever get used to them. The second thing is NAMES!? We don't know what to name him. We wanted all M names because I am Michelle, daughter is Marissa and Myles is the orange kitty. This one is Silver tiger and white. Help and suggestions would be great! Thanks

The cats will work it out on their own- if Myles gets too rough- just pick him up and remove him from the situation. It is better to distract him than to punish him, as you don't want him to associate punishment with the new kitten.

I think Mercury is a good name for a silver tabby.

How about: Mario, Mickey, or Magic...THings will work out, just give it time. Is the 7 month old neutered yet??

Yes he is neutered. The other kitten is only 6 weeks old and it just scares me when he rolls him and the kitten meows really loud. Sorry I am just freaking out and don't know if I should be

How about Mica - like the rock that comes in thin sheets and shines like a silvery mirror? (Pronounced like "mike-a.") Or if you are in a French mood, you could name the cat Minet (if male - pronounced approximately "mee-nay") or Minette (if female - pronounced approximately "mee-net").

MERCURY!!! Definitely Mercury! It will be a nice ironic twist when he's neutered and gets all old and fat! Like "Flash" or some such thing. Plus his colour. Mercury is the way to go!

Now, we all know that cats do not get fat, just because they are neutered!!! And I hav several 14 year old cats, they are slim and trim!!!
