New milestones almost every day

Hello PT!

March 2nd was the day my son turned 2 months old. People used to tell me that to enjoy him as a baby because they grow up so fast. I never believed them until now.

Hugito got his shots at his 2 month well baby doctor's appointment. He did so well. He is now 24" tall and weighs a whopping 14 1/2 lbs. His height and head measurement are in the 90th percentile and his weight was off the charts. You mean 2 month olds aren't supposed to weigh 14 lbs +?

One if his milestones is that he no longer fits into 0-3 month/newborn clothes. I put a 3-6 month pj outfit on him and aside from being a tad long, it fit very well. His other milestone is that he moved up a size in diapers. The hubby and I couldn't figure out why is old diapers kept leaking when they had been so absorbant in the past. Dummie (me) checked the weight limits of the diapers and saw that they were for up to 14 lbs. I guess that half a pound really made a difference.

He's so silly. Whenever he sees the camera flash, he really turns on the charm. Maybe he'll be a model? lol

Yes, they do grow up fast so enjoy him while he is a baby. Don't waste a minute of this time and relish every moment. All to soon, he will be grown and you will wish he was a baby again that you can hold and snuggle with... "Ewwww! MOM! I am to OLD for that!!!!"

And speaking as a mum whose daughter turns 1 at the end of the month, cherish the time. It does fly and you only realize how much when it is gone.
