Wanted Mug Shots
Here’s a couple of “wanted” mugs if I ever saw one! I don’t know if you all recall the post about the park where our ferals reside is changing ownership, but this was a meeting with the City regarding this issue. I received a call this week from a City Official who asked what the City could do to help us out and continue with our efforts at the park. We were thrilled. We’re hoping they may help supply us with some of the food, but we will not push this issue so we can continue working with all our beloved ferals. At least they have agreed (at this point) to let us continue our dedication there! We didn't even realize we were in the paper. A girlfriend of mine called and said she saw us, and dropped off the article to us!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
