I have a gluten free pumpkin pie to share. Having a mix of rain/snow this evening, so I'll gladly have a cup of tea please Richard.

Grey day - chai would be nice! The best foliage I see is by the side of the highway right now, the swamp maples are glorious, but hard to photograph at 65 miles an hour!

Yes, how do you hold the camera still when you are running that fast?!?!?!?

Let's start to fill the cups up and how about a few chunks of jalapeno/cheese corn bread?

    QoP,

I have to find an appropriate coffee cup, I have a 'Starbucks' cup that is a loaner at the moment, I need one of my own!

*Dusts leaves off shoulders* Oh hi everyone! I had to crawl out from under a huge pile just to get to the door, but I'm here now and could use a hot cup of tea! Don't forget the milk. ;-)

    I've missed you guys!!

We missed you, too! Have you met Patch? He's LH's orange and white kitty who hands around sometimes! I'll get you that tea - did you want a normal cup or the X-large mug size? C'mon in, and if you sit on the couch, Angel might try to be a lap dog - and that'll warm you right up!

It feels fall-ish here - leaves are turning, the early ones falling - and Paul has actually had some hot cocoa 3 days in a row! Still no frost expected anytime soon ...

All the world (except me) seems to be chuffed about pumpkin spice latte right now ... you can get it at Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and even McDonald's has it...

    Pumpkin Spice Latte
    2 cups milk
2 tablespoons canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
1 to 2 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
    1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    1/2 cup hot brewed coffee
    Garnish, if desired:
Whipped cream, dash pumpkin pie spice, 2 cinnamon sticks

    Step 1
In 2-quart saucepan, heat milk, pumpkin and sugar over medium heat until hot (do not boil). Remove from heat. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, the vanilla and coffee.
    Step 2
Pour into 2 large mugs. Garnish each with whipped cream, dash pumpkin pie spice and a cinnamon stick.

    It's fall.

Playoff baseball and baked apples in the oven. Anyone want any?

Oh, yeah. It's been a blast in Chicago All. Season. Long. Loss after loss after loss. Oh wait, they won! Losses and more losses. The Cubs, the White Sox. Lots of fun - NOT. And the Bears lost to Washington, a 1-4 team, yesterday. Grrrrf. Thank goodness hockey is back!
