How does your dog carry it's tail?

Mandy carries her tail straight up and slightly curled over her back most of the time. When she's relaxed it's straight down, but she's either dominant or anxious most of the time which causes her tail to go up.

Luka carries her tail straight out usually, which is a Lab characteristic. When she's relaxed it goes down.

Nova's tail is down most of the time. When it isn't is when she wags -- her tail goes in circles, and whacks you in the face a couple times

Tango: when she's really excited it's straight up, when she's just happy it's straight out and when she's tired it's down.

Dobes: Neither of them have much of a tail, but they've always got theirs traight out. Never up or down.

Comet: His is down most of the time, sometimes he has it up but not often.

Tia: Hers is almost always straight up.

LOL! My Aunty's dog Harley has been known to clear entire coffee tables with one sweep of his tail

Kaige & Raustyk have no tails. LOL Well Raustyk has a stub bit it's to short to do anything that you listed as options. lol

Nanook tries to keep his tail happily wagging most of the time but with the arthritis in his rear end it doesn't always wag like a puppies tail does.
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.

Roscoe's is usually straight out, wagging like crazy. Sometimes it is down though, but not usually.

not straight, but I voted straight. His just kind of slopes off the croup in a natural curve, it is really thick like a dal's at the base. He usually carries it with a slight curve. When he's being bossy it goes stiff up and curved a bit.

Jack's goes staight up and then curves slightly over his back.

Micki and Mini's lil tails are straight up most of the time.

    Kyra's is straight out.

And Shadow, well, she doesn't have one!

Nacey's little pug tail is up and as curly as can be. However when she is relaxed or sleeping her tail unrolls and hangs down straight.

Nova's tail is always up and slightly curved.

Bitsy's tail is usually up and curled onto her back. Sometimes it hangs down, usually when relaxed.

Buster's tail is up with the slightest curve.

Charlie has a little stub that really can only stick out straight.

What little tail Autumn has left is always straight out or down. I don't think its able to be carried upright. When she wags her tail its usually straight down like an excited golden retriever, she rarely holds it out when she's wagging it.

Molli's is curled over her back, and Sam's is just a little stub so I voted straight out for him.
