Persuasive Speech topics?

I unfortunately have to write a persuasive speech for my English class. I'd like to have it on an animal related topic. Does anyone have any ideas? I can't think of anything.

Oh, there's many, you could do animal testing, hunting, or as catnapper said, spay and neuter. Basically, it's best to chose an anmal topic which you have strong views on, that way you will have more emotion in your writing and will deliver a more persuasive speech

I did one on puppy mills and another on BSLs. Both were probably the best pieces I've written through out my high school years as I already knew so much about those topics and I had a genuine interest in them. Just pick something that interests you.
