Hi all. I've been concerned about some of our "Missing in Action" -- one of them, Bo's Mom sent me this answer:

"Yes I am fine, and Bo is in the pink of health. I am really busy at work, and just haven't had any opportunity to log onto Pet Talk. I haven't forgotten, thanks for asking and please let everyone know that I'm doing alright, just busier than a one-armed paperhanger with hives!

Oh I know!! I get to wondering about some of our absent folks! I know that Daisy's mom is busy with school and I haven't seen Max's humans for awhile and I hope Jasper's mom is doing ok too!! What about sabies and sadie's dad??

Sadie's Dad is Cincy's Mom's husband (whew, say that three times fast) and I think she just gets on more than him. I'm sure he's doing okay, just maybe busy too!

Thanks for wondering where Ralph is. Yes, he has been exteremly busy, although I know he sometimes gets on at work and lurks around. He has been on two business trips this month and in addition to his full time job, he is assistant chreographer for a high school musical that opens the first weekend of May. We also both dance (he Taps, I take Jazz lessons) with a studio here in Toledo. We have our big show in June, followed by a yearly trip to perform at Walt Disney World in late July/early August.

I guess with me posting so much, he feels like our girls stories are being told, but I don't know that for sure....I'll ask him when he get home tomorrow!

Hello Stenograsaurus and all! I took what was meant to be a brief hiatus from Pet Talk late last year, and ended up being gone longer than expected! I began lurking a couple of months ago, but I was disheartened by the whole Maddie the dog rescue situation, and I felt that it wasn't the right time for me to return!
(I am not saying that I was mad, or making any judgements on doggiemom, but I was just saddened and broken-hearted and totally upset by the situation, and didn't feel comfortable stepping back onto the board feeling that way.)
I don't mean to be re-hashing this bad period and bad emotions for PetTalkers, but I feel that I had to offer some explanation about why I was gone for months!
I've caught lots from lurking now and then - I've very sorry for your losses: AntiPam's Murf, Dixie's Aunt Jazz, and anyone I may have missed.
My dogs are all doing greyt! Boo developed a nasty habit of eating poop (but we think we fixed it now ), Buddy is the same sweet guy (we plan to sign him up for therapy dog classes in May), Paula injured her foot a few weeks ago, and needed stitches, and Pup is the same sweet yet aggressive little girl (she just got her summer haircut yesterday, and her ears look bigger than ever!).
DH and I are both fine - Joe is still working on his PhD, hoping to finish soon!
