*URGENT* Georgia THREE Legged New Mom W/5 Pups, One Dead From Exposure

These sort of posts really tear my heart to pieces, as I'm way up in MA. and this poor dog is in Georgia with puppies, and by the sounds of it nobody to help her. Crossposting, with some hope.... if they were up here, they'd already be here and warm and well fed *sigh*

Came into work today and a coworker, Connie, said a three-legged dog had
puppies on her front stoop last night in the freezing cold.

She had six puppies, one has died.

She had belonged to a neighbor who moved away and left her behind and
has been "hanging around" ever since.

She is a medium-sized black lab mix dog about 20-25 lbs.

Connie will not bring her inside and doesn't want her...

Is there anyone out there with room?

I can't tell you what the puppies look
like but they will die of exposure if left outside much longer.

I already have a mama cat and newborn kittens so I'm full and have no
    place to put
    her.

WHEWW!!! She's in a foster home with her remaining TEN puppies! She had eleven, but one died I can't picture her even carrying that many puppies to term without causing a lot of strain on her three legs. I got some wonderful pictures too....the mama looks so precious, as do her plump babies.

And the babies look so smooshable

I hope they are all going to be alright now...yay for the power of the internet!
