That may lead to her getting used to pooping anywhere she wants and also she might fly out an open window/door. My suggestion is put your hands in the cage and hand feed her.
we did have her out of the cage, she was just walking around snooping, she didnt seem scared at all

YES YES! That's a wonderful thing to do! It's absolutely wonderful that she's willing to walk out on her own! That will definitely bring her closer to you, and it can help you train the "Up" command. She looks like she's progressing wonderfully![]()
