How well do you know your pet?

A friend and I were talking about this subject a while back. If your pet was in a line-up (like a police line up) and all the others in the line-up looked similar, and you couldn't talk to it, would you know your BABY? I said yes, my friend said no. I think a mommie always knows her kid. What do you say?

I'm pretty sure I could recognize Fister in a line-up, he would look so pathetic and scared! And his ear would give him away!

    Oh, I sure hope so!!

There are many, many black loppies...so I *think* it'd be the attitude that'd give my Sophie away! ha ha...she'd be the one mouthin' off the cops, thumpin' 'n gettin' her fluffly-butt thrown back in the slammer teenagers in fur...gotta luv 'em!

    ***scary (but cute!) thought***

Had a dream last night that Sophie had 5 babies ---3 males, 2 females--- all smaller versions of 'mom' (attitude, color, and love for parsley included lol)....I tell ya what...it was a wkend but I sure did give the vet a housecall to demand a refund on that spay! lol

    6 Sophies...boy that just reeks 'trubble'...lol

    You bet!

There is no other Rottweiler that looks like my Angus, and so far, I haven't seen another Sib that looks like Roxey! By the way, is there anyone else with Sibs here? I know Kia, but is that all? Just wondering.

I know for certain I could tell Smudge I'd just have to see his eyes and well he would have issues in a line up with a bunch of strangers around so he would be freaking out and such due to his seperation anxiety.

Winter I could most likely tell apart from others I would just have to look for the eyes that bug out of her head in constant wonder and her ever so cute perky yet at the same time floppy ears...that and just look for the dog that's being a complete and udder suck up to everyone else.

the fish no, not a chance on the fish...the two I like the best live outside all summer and go in to hiding and when they're inside I don't really have time to look at them.

ries family, Welcome to Pet Talk! I am a "poodle mommy" too. I have a white standard poodle named Bella and yes I would know her anywhere. She has just a touch of a "nawtee sparkle" in her eyes and I know every hair on her silly little body!

I am pretty sure I would reconnize my girls...somedays when I take them to dayschool, there are afew other lab mixes that look similar, esp. to Sadie...but I can always spot her!!!

A friend who works at the school did say one day that they gave a guy the wrong dog on purpose to see if he would notice becuase their were two very similar dogs. He was halfway to the door when they called him back and told him what they had done...

I would recognize my fur-kids anywhere. All three of ours have that "Twinkle" in the eye...and a Mama just knows. My husband on the otherhand (As much as I love him) would probably made it all they way OUT the door before realizing that the dog wasn't his. Gotta love those Hubby's for they know not what they do!
