    computer question about deleting files

Ok, so I know how to delete your history, showing the sites you've been on and stuff. But, what I want to know is...is there any way to delete what you've searched for? Like in yahoo...when I type in a letter, it immediately pulls up everything I've searched for that starts with that letter. Is there any way to delete that stuff? I thought deleting the cookies would take care of that...obviously, I'm wrong and want to know if anyone knows how to delete that. Thanks guys!

well, it's not really a problem...i mean, it's supposed to keep your searches on file like that...i would just think there was a way to delete them...

Tell me about it. I used to work at a company that made industrial fluids and lubricants. I must have had a bowl of stupid on the day I did a search on "water-based lubricants"

Haha I just used to do it by pressing "Delete" on your keyboard, because that was the only way I could figure out. I suppose that would work if you just wanted to delete a few, and not all. But thanks for the link, it works!

-thank you Poppy for the avatar.

yeah, that didn't work for me at all. it wouldn't delete anything that way.

I know with both FireFox and Internet Explorer it saves your form data, and you can erase the form data by going into your options
