    Well....here she is...

My parents got their dog. As much as I wanted them to go through rescue, it didn't work out. The rescue never contacted them. Maybe it wasn't meant to be. They got a puppy, a female. She was born on 9-29-05. They got her from a breeder. Mom and Dad of the pup were both there and she is from a litter of 8. Both Mom and Dad are beautiful, my Mom had pics. My parents will be testing her hips when she is older, however of course, if she has problems, there is not much to do now. Either way, I am happy for them, but still sad that they didn't look a little further into it. Puppy has been taken to our vet and checked out fine and of course I can go over there and check her out too, which I have. Anyways, onto some pics.

    Introducing Shiloh.

The girls checking her out inside.

Hiding under the chair. She was a little freaked out with my 3 munchkins running around her.

    More in next post.

Trying to get in the chair with me. She can't quite make it yet.

Trying to get on the couch with the other ones.

Playing in her box, she went in there to hide from my 3.

    Chewing on Grant's collar.

    Playing with Sadie.

Peeking out from behind the TV.

Oh she is just precious!! What a sweet little sister you have, Amber. And of cours your kids are as adorable as always. Give them all big hugs from me.

You should invite mom and dad to Simba's party.

I have to say. She already is a special pup to me... her name brought me smiles thinking of Sue's Shiloh...

    She's very cute.

There's nothing wrong with getting a puppy from a reputable breeder. I've done it and someday I'll do it again. I hope you can get past being sad about where she came from and just enjoy having a puppy around!

I am happy she is here. I just wanted them to rescue, that's all. But it is fun having a puppy around that's not my resposibility. I can go visit her and not worry about her eating my furniture and shoes, LOL. She is slowly coming out of her shell and getting used to everyone. They just got her Monday. It will be fun watching her grow up and come into her own personality.

Those are my favorite breed of puppies--other people's puppies! All the fun and none of the work!
