    Getting acquainted....

We recently lost my older dog and Brit, my aussie mix was lonely. Soooo, we got a 7 wk old yellow lab puppy.

Love this site and thought I'd share their first day of meeting. All is going well, cept Brit objects to the tail pulling and ear nipping at times. (Don't blame her as the puppy has sharp little chompers like a piranha, lol).

Awww she is so cute! And Brit is beautiful I have two Yellow Labs. You can see them in my siggy: Nova is the cream-colored one, like the color Sandy is, and Luka is the dark yellow one. Mandy is my GSD/Pit mix, and she's the white dog

    thanx

All your dog's are so beautiful! Been awhile since I've had a puppy, as usually adopt older shelter dogs.
Trying to attach another pic of Britty dog. As you can tell, she has this long hair that puppy just LOVES to grab at, especially the tail! Brit is somewhat different dog, as she is long-hair brindle, with a plumey tail; her mom was an australian shep mix and her dad a spaniel. Neither breed usually produces a brindle. I'd love to have such hair full of red, gold, bronze, tan, and black hi-lights, lol.

Welcome to PT! Your pups are adorable!

Sandy looks exactly like my yellow labbie, Malone, when he was that tiny. Totally melts my heart

Oh, the smell of puppy breath! What a darling little girl and so aptly named. I think I will pm our Sandra so she can see this little imp. Brit's going to have a lot to handle for awhile, but I bet you will find that Sandy picks up things really quickly having an older, wiser dog to emulate.

Congratulations on the new addition to your family and thank you for sharing such a special day with us. As I nosed around in your pictures I couldn't help but notice that the dogs are well served at your house.

Oh how precious! Your pups are beautiful!!! Your wee one Sandy is a real heartmelter! Puppy breath, puppy fur, puppy teeth!!! She eminds me so much of my Lab Star when she was a baby, lying next to her big sister Cody Welcome to Pet Talk, Kelli, Brit and Sandy!

Thanks for the heads up, Rachel
