Oddly cool pics...

I was trying to take some pictures tonight of our yard lighting..currently it's 1500 white LED Christmas lights, strung throughout the yard so we can do things without constantly carrying lights or wearing headlamps. When it's dark as much as it is up here in the winter, yard lights become very important!
I have a friend who makes fun of my Christmas decorating so I thought he'd get a good giggle out of the all winter lights! The pictures suck! I didn't bother with the tripod and I should have, but I like these two for some reason.

Those are really cool! That first one is awesome and the second.... I would be tempted to try to do that again, just to see what designs I could get...

The house lights look very comforting in the dark. It's nice to see the kind of places other people live. It's heading towards summer here now and the temperatures for the next couple of days are expected to be in the high twentys (C).

The #2 "bump shot" is interestng - "coverd porches" out in the yard?

Well I don't think this is a pointless thread at all. I find you pictures Very interesting...expecially the first one. The sky looks awesome. Take more pictures if you ever have the time!
