As many of you know I had to have my Merlin pts last spring. It's been hard as he acted as my alert dog for my diabetes (as well as my buddy) I am wanting to have another alert dog But since Merlin had trained himself for this job.,I am having trouble locating any one who knows what to look for in a new dog and how to train it. I have no problem training just need the guidelines for doing so. Help any one have any ideas? I have an e-mail in to the womens prision in Washington that does seizure dogs hoping they could help. I think I may have found the perfect dog but want to make sure . Thanks in advance.
