Remembrance Sunday - 8 pictures -

In the UK, Remembrance Day is on 11 November. It is a special day set aside to remember all those men and women who were killed during the two World Wars and other conflicts. Remembrance Sunday is held on the second Sunday in November, which is usually the Sunday nearest to 11 November. Special services are held at war memorials and churches all over Britain ceremonies take place at cenotaphs all over UK.

Here are some pictures of the last Remembrance Sunday in our town:

I didn't bring my dog to the ceremony but some people did.
Here are some of them:


a spaniel, a border collie, a miniature schnauzer, and a lab.
I don't know why they all looked the other way, not really interested in the ceremony.

It looks like a very nice ceremony. And it is nice that all of the cute dogs could attend too (I won't tell Snowy that there were dogs there and you didn't take her ). I want that lady's coat .
