    What they came home to

My brother came yesterday from the west bank of New Orleans with a CD full of pictures, some that he personally took himself. He had some actual video he shot DURING Katrina down there that gave me chills to watch... Is there somewhere on on the web that I can store some where people can go see them?.

This is someones home! Can you just imagine coming home to find your house like THIS?

WELCOME to our home! Come on in....

On a sadder note, my son in law went to a memorial service in New Orleans yesterday for a relative that died when he stayed, refusing to leave his 3 dogs. They found one dog alive and that is all.

oh my! I don't know what top ssay. I can smell the sewage just from those photos. I cannot imagine the devastation I'd feel if I saw my home looking like that.

The devastation is depressing. Not so much the "stuff" that was lost, such as furniture, clothing. But the momentos of family, pictures, heirlooms, all that stuff can never be replaced. So sad.

I cant imagine walking into that mess. What is sad there is nothing to save. Thankfully, lives were saved and possessions can be replaced.
