TPLO Surgery Questions

Hello everyone.... it is a possibility that my lovable, adorable dog will need to have TPLO surgery on her back legs. This will certainly not be her first surgeries but hopefully her last.

I know quite a bit about the surgery through personal knowledge and my vet
but I wanted to get some feedback from someone who has gone through it. If you have or know someone who has, can you please let me know??

Hello. I am not really looking for an explanation of the surgery - I know soooo much about it already. I am looking to see if anyone has gone through the process with their own dog and how it went. You can read all you want but hearing from those who have actually experienced it is better.

Hello yourself. I didn't think you were asking for info on the procedure,
but thought it would be helpful for everyone to understand a little about
it. My dog had a similar surgery, but it was 10+ years ago & I did not
remember the name of the procedure. That's why I looked it up.My dog's
surgery did not involve inserting a metal plate so it must have been a
different procedure.

Someone might know of a family member or close friend who did have
this particular procedure.
