    Tea, anyone?

So, yeah, I'm practically floating, what with all the water and tea I've been drinking lately. But, anyway, I'm bored, and, after my last cup of tea, I feel a bit better. And, a nap, too. But, here's the little tea pot and cup my mother bought for me. And, the tea holder (I'm sure there's a name for it, but, I don't know what it is) is just a hinged metal and metal mesh sphere on a chain...you fill up with loose tea, close it, and, hang it inside the cup or pot. Notice the cute little pineapple, that's the end of it. The pot is adorable, and, holds a little over two cups of tea. The set is from Poland, and, I really like it. It's beautiful, convenient and functional. Not to mention, a gift from my mother. So, it's super extra special and I wanted to share it with you guys. Feel free to share your tea and/or coffee cups with us, if you want. Or, whatever, really.

That's really cute! That was thoughtful of your mother. Glad you're feeling better.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I love tea! Especially Mint tea, I usually buy it from superstore, During the fall and winter. But in the summer I pick wild mint, when we go out of town boating or ATVing. And dry them, then boil and make mmm....Minty tea and honey!

I really like tea too, and if I'm not feeling well I especially like chamomile tea with honey in it. I love the set! What a thoughtful gift

My mom is such a sweet woman. I'm lucky. She's always thinking of me, and, of others. I am looking forward to when I'm feeling better so I can clean the house from top to bottom for her. I don't have the money to buy her anything right now, but, I can do that. But, the tea she bought is one kind that apparently Oprah has talked about...that tea forte stuff...the particular type I drink is called "Oasis"...which you can see in the photo...and, underneath it says "a healing blend of green teas and spring flowers." It's so cool, there are these beautiful yellow petals in the tea, and, I just put a packet of splenda in to sweeten it a little. Green tea is my favorite, though. Even when I'm not sick, I usually enjoy a cup a day of it.

I love your tea set! It's just beautiful.

I drink lots and lots of tea, and I adore tea stuff. This is my favorite tea-for-one set (because it has cats, of course):

And here are a couple of vintage teacups, just for fun:
