Yeah, it's pretty sad. I just got into a line of cosmetics and skin care called Arbonne. I love it. It's all botanically based, and, not a single part of the process involves testing on animals.

Woooow, a lot more than I'd though!! And I know that's not all.

I saw "Playtex" though and I'm sure you all know what the first product that came to my mind was, and I was thinking "THEY TEST THOSE ON ANIMALS?!?!?!?!"

The only brand up there I use is Kleenex. I use trader Joe's "no bunnies" shampoo.

For Canadians (and maybe Americans) I think all of Safeway's brand of products, which are mostly cleaning supplies, are cruelty free. And Avon cosmetics doesn't test on animals either.

Oral B I can understand, at least they're whitening teeth at the same time! lol

But seriously, some of that other stuff, why would it be tested on animals, I just dont understand it. horrible.

That's my thoughts... I mean, toothbrushes MAYBE, but toothpaste is a BIG no-no because some chemicals found in "human" toothpaste can be dangerous if ingested by an animal! How is that ok?
