Hi everyone. It seems like it was a long time ago that I actually had the time to sit down and make a post here! It's kind of crazy being in the states again!
Tyler is doing well. He just got weighed and measured a few days ago and at 5 months he is 17lbs and 27inches. He had a funky rash for a few days but the pediatrician said that it was no biggie. I moved out of his room and we finally bought him a real crib even though we're only here for a few months and it has REALLY helped his sleeping. He goes down to sleep at around 8-9 and sleeps until 7-8 with 1 feeding at around 1ish. The doc said that this could be because he's a big boy and needs more calories so they said I should start on two solids a day instead of one.
He is doing great with solids and has had all sorts of veggies. Every morning he gets a jar of veggies mixed with a couple tablespoons of oatmeal powder and just a splash of water to get it to the right texture. He LOVES to eat and has yet to come across a food that he doesn't like.
He can sit up REALLY well now and rolls like a champ both ways. Along with rolling came sleeping on his tummy and now he will NOT sleep on his back unless he's in the carseat.
The other day he was actually able to creep all of the way across the bed. Mostly he ends up creeping backwards, but I think within a month or two he's going to be crawling :shock: He's really good at getting up on hands and knees with belly off of the floor but he's not quite sure what to do once he's there :lol:
