Photos from a farm (puppy and horses!)

Hey, everyone! I got to go love on some horses and a burrow and an adorable little puppy today...here are the links to the threads I made in Dog and Pet General.

Kari, I LOVE horses. I would give about anything to own a horse. Those are such beautiful horses. The one is huge. He must have clydsdale (sp) in him? I love the smell of a horse.

Thank you Kay for the beautiful sig!

I love horses, too. I hope that I get to go out riding with them. They invited me, and, said that between the two of them, they have about eight horses of their own, and, that there are a few that would be good for a rider with little experience. That would be.

Yeah, Beorn is 2600 pounds and over 18 hands (1 hand = 4 inches) at the withers (meaning the spot basically where their neck meets their body)...not saying that you don't know, but, there might be someone who doesn't. I knew that, but, asked today anyway, because I wasn't sure about the hands thing. Anyway, he's Shire, not a Clydesdale. But, they're both considered draught (draft) breeds. He's amazing, and, I would have loved to have actually ridden him, instead of just sitting on him! But, I'll take what I can get. I, too, actually love the smell of a horse, and, getting the horse dirt all over my hands.
