*pics* Nova on her first "hunt" & playing with Keyser

Here are some pictures of Nova and her best friend Keyser (Nova is the Lab and she is mine, Keyser is the Vizsla and he is my friend's). Me and Leah took our pups out to her friend's acreage (850 acres!!!) to let them run around and swim in the lake. We also introduced Nova to birds as I will be most likely training her to run field trials and we threw the birds out for Keyser too.

Some of these are really bad quality because stupid me had the camera in the wrong mode half of the time. Luckily by the time we got to the birds I figured it out, but I tried to adjust the other pictures and even though they look better they're still horrible. :/

Nova and your friend's pup are very cute. But I think bird hunting is really very cruel.

Bird hunting isn't cruel, its what the dogs were bred to do first off and secondly I know a lot of people use birds that are already dead (if I remember correctly). And its only cruel really if they kill the birds with no intent to do anything with them other than sitting and letting them rot. As long as they eat them.. I don't see any problem.

These birds were already dead. I really hate seeing the birds die, but honestly if it's what my dog was bred to do then she's going to do it. I've *never* seen her happier then she was that day.
