Woohoooo!! New Bettas!

I finally found a place that had more than just veil tails!

Ever since I caught the Betta bug with my first Betta Korkie (who passed recently ), I thought that maybe I'd like to breed them one day (Erica, you're a bad, bad, bad influence on me ). I still have lots to learn but the woman at the store (who breeds them as well) was really nice and helped me pick out the Bettas that would make a good match.

Sorry about the quality of the pics.. the batteries for my Canon are dead and I can't find the charger. I had to use the crummy Sony.


The girls first..

This is Hermione. I got her a couple days ago from a different store.


Here's Bellatrix. I'm not sure what fin type she is but the woman who bred her said that she carries the genes for Halfmoons and might make a good match for one of my new guys.

And now for my favorite.. and the one I'm hoping will be a daddy one day..

Lucius, the 5 month old Halfmoon! The woman suggested that I breed Lucius and Narcissa as she has good genes and he has strong rays..




I'll post more pictures once they get settled in their tanks and I manage to get more batteries.
