Photobucket Problems?

All day long I've not been able to see any pictures from photobucket and I'm getting a little annoyed and puzzled

I figured if it were down no one would be able to see pictures or be able to access their site, but Robin is able to but not me...what's up with that? Anyone have any thoughts?

Now that I think about it, several times today and yesterday, when I uploaded pictures and resized them, I got a "X" instead of the picture. I clicked on the box that was "X'ed out and it brought the larger picture up then when I went back, the picture (thumbnail) was back... Maybe it is a problem with PB?

I am glad I decided to open this before PMing Karen. Anna, I have had the same problem, sort of, and it hasn't been just today. There are some threads that I cannot see the pictures on at all. I have tried reloading, and I have tried quoting to see if it would show up in my post. There also is not a square with an x in it, like there used to be. I don't think it is photobucket though, because on some threads I can see pictures with no problem and they say loading from photobucket. I honestly don't have a clue what it is. But at least I know I am not alone. Since I really am not very computer literate, I would be open to suggestions. Thanks for bringing this up, Anna.

Hmm...my photobucket appears to be working, as some of my siggy immages come from there...let me try to post a picture...

My favorite picture of my boy.

EDIT: Well it appears to be working on my end. I can see the picture I posted...can anyone else? I've noticed too lately that sometimes photobucket appears to be "down" and no pictures from there show up in posts. I haven't had this problem in particular with my pictures, but some accounts just don't seem to be accessing correctly. I read just now in Photobuckets announcements section that they are currently having ISP issues...so the problem is on thier end! I hope this helps!

Hmmm, like I said, it must be on thier end. I don't understand though why I can see the picture just fine but no one else can

. Can you see my siggy images or are those X's too?

Okay I just tried something. My nephew set up my browser as Mozilla Firefox. So I just opened a different window just using my computer to do a computer search and got onto Pet Talk. I can now see pictures I couldn't see before. Does anyone else have Mozilla Firefox. Could they be the problem?

Oh and to answer your other question DJFyrewolf36, yes, your siggies show up just fine. I really am totally clueless as to what the problem is.

I've been having Photobucket problems galore today! On another forum, I haven't been able to see ANY Photobucket pictures all day. I even tried going to Photobucket's website and couldn't connect to the main page. I have no clue what is going on with it, but I hope it gets fixed soon! I'll try Firefox and see if it works.

It could be an internet explorer issue. I know that in the past, Photobucket has had problems displaying images in IE but not in Mozilla or Netscape.

It's been the same for me. No photobucket on ANY forums or even if I try copy and pasting the URL.

This is weird

I've uploading pics on Photobucket the whole day, and I'm not having any problem with it..........

I CAN NOT STAND Photobucket!! Their servers are always going down, or are so slow that pictures take forever to load!!

As an alternative I STRONGLY suggest you guys look into using zoto.com You get TWO GIGABYTES of space in which to store your images!!

PS: And PB has more than one server, so if one server goes down but not another, that's why some images will show up and some won't. Likewise, accounts are located on different servers, which is why some are able to access their accounts and upload images and why others can't.
