I have to admit, I haven't really kept up with current music much over the last few years. I really like most songs on Jagged Little Pill (Alanis Morrissette) and Tragic Kingdom (No Doubt, before they sold out). I also like "Blessed" by Elton John a lot. Most Billy Joel songs.I dunno. I guess my newest "obsession" is Keane - I like their stuff too.
Cool! My friend can sing At Last so well, it just breaks my heart to hear it, it's so beautiful! I loved Jagged... and Tragic... And, I'm a HUGE Billy Joel fan! Piano Man, Just the way you are, Always a woman, you name it!Originally posted by Samantha Puppy

And, OMG, I love Keane! If you get the chance to see them live, you really should, they're wonderful on stage! That's awesome that you enjoy their music, they're not that well known, yet!

It's a great song and it totally fit us since our relationship wasn't exactly continuous from first dating to the wedding. "At last!" was something many friends/family members of ours said when we got engaged! hehe Plus, we're traditional and old-school so the style of the song fit us as well as the lyrics.
I listen to Jagged whenever Josh makes me mad. It's a great 'get your aggression out' song. hehe I heard Kean on SNL earlier this year and was immediately taken with their music. Josh complains that they sound just like Coldplay but I don't think so... there are similarities but I like Keane much more than Coldplay. PLUS the lead singer of Kean is such an unconventional cutie!! Chubby face, cute accent, good fashion... I may have to listen to their CD on my way home from work in 10 minutes.
There are a lot of songs I love and I could go on and on naming them. But, my current favorite song is My Humpsby the Black Eyed Peas
~Kay, Athena, Ace, Kiara, Mufasa, & Alice!

I am 44 and I have to admit that "my lumps" is a catchy little song....my daughter downloaded it just to bug me but I actually kind of like it....

I have been frosted!
Thanks Kfamr for the signature!
I love the Black Eyed Peas, and, that song has a fun beat to it, like all of their stuff. But, it's probably the one song of theirs that I don't like at all! At least you have to admit that they are creative, albeit a tad strange.Originally posted by caseysmom

Cool thread, though...

Really depends on my mood... but apparently the most played song according to my itunes on my computer is 'With Heaven On Our Side' by Foreigner. I listen to mostly 70s, 80s, and early 90s, as well as soundtracks and instrumentals. Generally when I get "stuck" on a song depending on my mood, I will play it over several times.
Mom to Raven and Rudy the greyhound
Missing always: Tasha & Tommy, at the Rainbow Bridge
True by Spandaux Ballet or whatever they are called
the remix of True
Redneck Revolution by Hot Apple Pie
Deeper Than the Holler by Randy Travis is such a beautiful song that really shows how much I love my pupper.
