My "other" Furkids

I just wanted to share some pictures I took recently of my "other" furkids. These are pictures of my mom's cats. Most of you know that Mark and I are living with my mom until our new house is finished...which should be at the end of October. So the house has been filled with lot of furry kids running all over the place.

So without further waiting....my mom's kids.

Tiger-Lily, mom to Figaro, Lillie-Mae and Rascal.


Out of all my mom's cats, I think Lillie-Mae is the most photogenic. Her photos just come out really nice, at least I think they do.




"My Boy" Figaro. This is the same Figaro that was hit by a car earlier this year. He has no ill effects of the accident.


This is Rascal....and does she ever live up to her name. She is the most rude and moody cat I have ever experienced. She can be so nice and loving when she wants to be but other than those times she is a real bratt.

This is Cucumber. My mom named her that because she would feed her in the garden and the Cuc was always lying in the cucumber patch...hence her name. I told my mom that she should have named her Cow Kitty because of her cow like spots.

Cucumber is the mom to Ma-Gee, Midnight, and Buttercup.



Miss Ma-Gee.


Midnight. He is like a huge black panther. He is so long and sleek.




This is Buttercup. When Cucumber brought her babies to my mom, Buttercup was dying from pneumonia.....and now she is thriving. She has the most amazing blue eyes....granted they are so crossed that I swear when she is out hunting she probally sees ten mice instead of one.



Well I hope you enjoyed. Only another month that mom's kids have to put up with my kids. I can only imagine how happy they will be when my kids leave....they can have their house and bed back to themselves.

They are all beautiful! What wonderful pictures. I have lost track though, just how many kitties are residing in the house together? Do they all get along?

There are a total of 14 inside the house. Tucker stays outside and Vegas is becoming a member of the family so a grand total of 16 cats on the property.

They all get along for the most part. We have never had a knock down, drag out cat fight...just the occasional hiss and spit, and sometimes the hit but nothing major.

I LOVE those pictures! That perked me up a bit. I love Buttercup. She remind me so much of Maya Laquita Linn.

BTW, there's a snot cat in EVERY household!!!!Mine is Miss Puerto Rico.
