    Look at this...

    Isn't this a cute picture? Cookie and Eddy looking out to the garden. They spend many happy hours together, either sleeping or sitting somewhere next to each other.



    (The light wasn't too good that day, so the picture came out pretty dark)

    buddies

    I loved that picture. It reminded me of my late and wonderful pair of cat (Libby) and dog (Barney) who were the best of friends. I had Libby and we got Barney when he was 8 weeks old (Golden Ret.). Well Libby thought she was his mom, and it stayed that way their whole lives. As they got older they took care of eachother. Libby used to lay with Barney and lick all around his eyes and ears. I miss them both so much.

    Thank you for the picture and the wonderful memories it brought to mind.

    I don't remember. Cookie likes to watch the airplanes & helicopters flying over our house (we live near an US-Airbase). Eddy usually joins her.

    It's very sweet, those two together. When Eddy gets home from being outside, she goes straight to Cookie to head butt her and keeps her little tail attached to Cookie. Cookie licks her head till it's soaking wet and sticky. But they seem to need this routine and are very uncomfortable when one of them isn't around.

    Ohh, that is a cute picture! Wonderful to hear they're getting along so well! Where's Rudie? Sleeping!?

    Ps. Next time they're standing there, try and take 1 or 2 steps to the right- if you can, LOL! and I'm sure the backlight won't be so bad. But then, I know you have to be quick sometimes, before they move.

    What a great photo op. I just love how peaceful life seems to be for them. I have one cat that loves dogs, the other cat just hisses. Thanks for sharing such a nice photo. It put a big smile on my face!
