    Starr's Being Neutered Tomorrow

    Hi,
    My baby boy Starr is going to be neutered tomorrow. He's a doublecrypt orchid so it's going to be more like a spay than a neuter. All of my other furkids came to me already fixed so this is very new to me. The medical director of my vet hospital will be doing the surgery so I'm sure he'll be in great hands. I know I'm going to be worrying about him though. Please keep him in your thoughts and send him some get well wishes. Thanks.

    Why so vague?

    What does the term double crypt orchid mean? Whatever it is, not many of us know what you are referring to.... Thanks.

    Starr, It sure sounds like you are going to be in very good hands during your surgery!!! Prayers and healing coming to you!! Take Care, and Mom don't be too nervous(it is OK to be a little!).

    Double crypt orchid means that the poor little guy's testicles never came out of his belly, so the vet has to go in and "find" them. This seems fairly common in Siamese. I have a friend who had a Meezer boy that they thought was a girl, because his equipment never materialized!
