    Schools canceled for me

    My school has been canceled for thursday and Friday. We ARE getting a hurricane for sure.But we dont know how bad were going to get it.We live in the northern Houston area,and might get a weaker part of it.But we are expecting lots of wind damage and most likely flooding.There are alot of old pine trees,and different trees everywhere.I just hope none of them decide to fall on our house
    We dont know if were evacuating or not.Some of our relatives said they'll fly us,Kodie & Lucy all the way to Canada to stay with them.And my dads company already has some hotel rooms reserved in Dallas,the only problem is we dont know if they take dogs or not,especially larger ones.But mabye they'll make an exception.If were staying,were all ready to go.Lots of food,dog food,water,propane,everything pretty much.
    All we need is some prayers that everything will be ok.

    You're lucky you got hotel rooms. All of them in Austin, between the hurricane and the ACL are booked. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

    From the looks of it,we're not going to be driving to Dallas.The highways out are just a mess,and people are running out of gas and we just dont want to risk it.But it depends how traffic is tomorrow night.My dad is coming home from Egypt early,he was supposed to come home Saturday but he's coming home tomorrow now,at 1:30. My mom wants me to sleep downstairs,just because of the trees and all that good stuff.
    But thankyou very much for the prayers,i'll keep you updated!

    We live in southeast texas (near Beaumont), and we are supposed to get some of the bad part of the hurricane.
    We aren't evacuating though...

    My fiance' and I don't have a car, and with my moms 3 dogs, and 2 cats, plus our 3 dogs, we don't have enough room in any of their vehicles for everyone to fit. So we are just going to try and tough it out.

    I will be praying for your family as well, because I know ya'll will be going through the same scary thing if you stay.
