Jesse is in between the two. She can be mean and snarly, but that is only towards other dogs she doesn't know.

MAXIMUS doesn't like other dogs anywhere near his property(us).
He has played, very well in fact, with a dog through a fence. Kisses, smelling, and running along the length of the fence. I'm quite sure they would have been great without the fence. The only time there was an issue, was when I went up to the dog to pet her. MAXIMUS got really nasty with that, growling and showing the mean fur.

Tango's kind of inbetween, some dogs she LOVES to play with (especially retrievers and herding breeds...) and others she lunges at and growls a bit but I don't think she'd ever attack them (she only does this on a leash. I'm pretty sure it's fear aggression. off leash she loves everything). They just make her nervous. She's getting a lot better though. Winston's not really in either category, he's not at all aggressive but he's not really playful either, he's pretty laid back and couldn't care less about another dog. Tia's afraid of everything once she leaves the house so she jsut hides from other dogs unless it's another Dachshund or a Chihuahua or soemthing.

depends on the dog, Happy is FEAR aggressive with dogs she does not know, she does not actually attck them though she basicly tests them, she will put on a big tough act and grab the dogs scruff and if the dogs reaction is "who cares?" then she immedietly likes them and it happy to play, but if they go after her or get upset she gets nasty and frightend, and if Misty is nearby Misty will nail Happy, which does not really help matters. Mistys testing other dogs is much nicer, basicly she gets down low and makes this horrable squeeling sound and if the dog does nothing she is fine, if not she gets really submissive and rolls over if the dog comes anywhere near her Ripley USED to be very friendly, but my mom refuses to disipline him when he gets nasty because "he's sooo cute" and now he is really nasty with other dogs, his hackles go up and he starts snarling. Blair is great with other dogs and people as long as they are not on his property lol and perky is indiffernt.

basicly Happy and Misty are fine with the happy happy dogs like my friends golden because he could not care less what the girls do, he does not fight, period, he is 5 years old and never raised a hackle in his life, the others dont like him though because he is so happy happy, he follows them around like a love sick puppy with a big grin on his face and tail waggin, the other dogs hate that and so do I lol oh and Happy is truly aggressive with GSP's and schnauzers, dont know why, but she is out to kill them, when she see's one hold on tight because her eyes glaze over and she turns into a maniac, I cant for the life of me figer out why though she has never even met one of these breeds much less had a bad exprience with one

Autumn is other. She's dominant without the least drop of aggression. She rarely plays, unless its with little puppies, but she will mill around with the others. The only time she's grouchy is to keep the others in line. She's my park matriarch.

Cool! I love learning about other furbabes here It is so fun. I know what it is like to have an agressive dog though, it wasn't fun. No matter where your were, this dog was evil! She was a bichon frise named Muffin. It was weird how agressive she was.

Clover will play with any other dog she meets, but if the other dog gets too rough she will give a warning. She is such a social butterfly and always wants to meet new dogs.

Elvis will play with any other dog offlead fine (Except for Labradors). Onlead he cannot meet new males dogs, he is fine meeting females onlead now .

  11. Lexi is full dog aggresive. She only likes on dog, Kaeko, an aussie and thats because hes our friends dog and shes gotten used to him. Although there was a Lowchen puppy who she met and she just backed up inbetween my legs looking at me, it was almost like she was saying.. "I don't WANT to hurt this girl! But if she keeps doing this near you, I'm gonna...." she had the most pathetic look in her eyes. Shes getting better and she now likes a *bit* more....Peaches & Trixie(Yellow labs), Nelly(portugese water dog), Sassy(golden), Tinkerbelle(lowchen) and of course Kaeko(aussie)

Oz loves everybody and everything. So he's definitely in the playful category.

Murph is mainly dog aggressive, with the exceptions of certain big dog breeds like Goldens and Collies.

Gull is mainly indifferent. He'll usually just ignore other dogs, although sometimes he'll bark at'em. Except for Oz, he just doesn't seem to care all that much about playing with other dogs.

In puppy class, he'd play for a lil' while, but then he'd wanna go exploring and if they got too rough, he would stand up for himself and tell'em to knock it off.

Payson is really none of the above. I guess if I had to pick one, aggressive would fit the best... however, he's more fear aggressive.

If I'm taking him on a walk and we pass by another dog who doesn't really respond or notice him, Payson's fine and will ignore him and continue on his way. If the dog barks, however, Payson gets really scared and tries to run the other way. There's one yard in my neighborhood with these dogs that are always out and always bark at anyone who passes and Payson refuses to go anywhere near the house.

As I said, Payson is a little fear aggressive, however. We tried taking him to the dog park to get him used to other doggies. For the most part he'd stay by himself and run whenever any dog walked by him. However, when dogs came leaping at him he'd start growling and if they didn't go away, he snapped at them. That put a stop at our dog park trips.

He did, however, get along ok with a couple of my coworker's dogs. Although they didn't play, they all tolerated each other fine.
