Thread: I'll be gone for a while

I'll be gone for a while

The day after tomorrow I'm going to the hospital to have total knee replacement in my left leg. Since I don't know how long it will take before I can be in front of the computer again, probably a couple of weeks, I just wanted to let you know why I won't be posting so you don't send the blood hounds after me.
So, to all two and four-legged friends who have a birthday coming up, have a very happy one!
And congratulations to anybody who becomes a "Pillar" while I'm gone.
I hope all the news I read when I come back are good and happy ones.

    Alicia,
You take care of yourself!! I know Carina will be a terrific nurse for you!! Those girls always take good care of their mothers.
Hope that bum knee will be much better after the surgery.
We'll miss you, but don't you worry, we'll keep the prayers going until we know you're ok.

    OMG LOLOL, Loud Lou!!!!!

Albea, you are so sweet to always keep up with the birthdays. I appreciate it because I am not so good with dates. I like to wish people a happy birthday but you make it so easy. I so much appreciate you always keeping up with that. You are a very thoughtful person and I hope everything with the surgery goes well. I will be thinking about you tomorrow and I will look forward to your progress report when you get can get a chance.

Take care, and quick healing to our good friend, Albea.

    Best wishes for speedy healing!

And maybe we SHOULD send the bloodhounds after you - wouldn't cuddling up to a pack of comfy ol' hounds just make your recouperation go faster? They could fetch things for you (probably not food, unless you don't mind teeth marks)! They could howl when you hurt, and make you laugh instead! See, that pet therapy stuff really does work!

Good luck and hope to hear you are back on your knee-bonez soon!
