"Where's Rumor's Blanket?"

Rumor is my pack rat kitty but she's over the top with this blanket. It's a small fleece blanket that has Ripley and Jazz's names on it and I keep it on the top of the cat table in the office window. Rumor can't stand for it to be there and drags it off to varies places in the house. She actually gets worked up an mad when she sees it back on the table top and will grunt. We laugh that the blanket is like "Where's Waldo" except it's "Where's Rumor's Blanket".

Here she is in action.


She bites and shakes it as she's pulling it up and even grunts.


Now off the table.


First she wants to take it into the corner by the file cabinet.


Nope, not the right place.


Where to go, where to go....


Out of the office and down the hall.


This time she took it to the bed on the couch.


Some of her other favorite spots are in the middle of my bed, into the sunroom, on the carpet runner in the entryway, beside the chair in the living room or under the dining table.

That's too funny! I've never had a kitty that would do something like that. Halo has her ribbons that she'll drag around but only if she wants you to play with her.

Isn't that a hoot? Rumor really knows what she wants and she will go to great lengths to get it (and take it where she wants!).

That is really funny about that blanket. wonder what the attraction is???

Catmandu beat me to it. My first thought was maybe you should change her name to Linus. Our girl cats do that with stuffed animals. Right now, the only non- cat toy stuffies that are out are out of kitty reach. I can already hear it, "Mommy, Chloe took my teddy bear again!"

Thats sooo cute. When you said she makes a little grunting noise it reminds me of my bunny. If I move anything in his cage, he gets really annoyed, and grunts as he re-arranges everything.

Well at least they had enough decency to just drag around the clean ones. Vixen has a thing for dragging around pawpie boxers when he gets in the shower. His dirty boxers. And Lilith seems to like my bras. Go figure.

Rumor is tooo sweet seeing that last pic I just want to kiss the little nosey right off her face. How precious can one kitty be?

That is so cute! Rumor is such a sweetheart. She isn't really "over the top" Lori - she is a cat. I bet she has a purrfectly good reason for what she is doing.....probably the same reason that Dylan drags around his feather boa and tries to hide it in his food dish Let me know if you figure it out and I will share any insider info with you as well.
