Prayers for me and the baby please...

Just got back from my OBGYN appointment. She went over the results of the sonogram I had last month and is sending me to the University of Maryland Neonatal Unit for a detailed sonogram and meeting with a genetic counselor at 8am on Monday morning for an emergency consultation because there are two areas of concern the technician who read my first sonogram found.

One is a spot near the baby's left kidney which could be a cyst or some other growth or could be a deformed body part. The other, which is more cause for concern, is that there are supposed to be 3 tubes from the mother to the placenta/baby and we only have 2 which can cause major heart issues, up to and including fatal problems.

So please keep me and baby Nug in your prayers this weekend and on Monday.

I am so sorry you are having this scare. I hope both issues turn out to be non critical. Please try not to worry yourself sick (I know easier said than done)
