we've ben getting a new roof put on the house...plus ended up getting a new water heater because the old one vented thru the roof & the vent pipe broke off IN the attic...hubby raised the roof 2 feet on our addition to get it ready for the roofers...& on monday he'll start tearing into our front porch...tearing out windows...we'll have 4 windows instead of 12! Had rain during the middle of all this roofing & ended up with a leak in the kitchen & now I have a kitchen ceiling to deal with that is pretty stained...hopefully a good primer/sealer will do the trick...
this pic was taken the 1st day as they started tearing off shingles...we had the wooden shakes on...
and this one was taken today...they're close to being done...they still have to tear off & shingle the front porch, 1 peak on the back side & the addition on the back side...
we're putting on steel roofing that LOOKS like regular asphalt shingles...I love the look...
Just one thing...now I'm getting the itch to repaint my trim colors...in DIFFERENT colors...so that means renting a lift to get that high up,,,hubby thinks i've gone nuts!
