    Katrina CAT 5 OMG

    I am praying for those of you who live in or near New Orleans.
    I have visitied the city years ago and hope that it's beauty will not be altered by this unbelievable storm.
    I hope by some miracle it fizzles out before hitting you.

    This is so horrible.
    There's a lot of places up there that are technically below sea level. I hope, hope, hope there's some sort of miracle. I'm glad it's not hitting us but I wish it didn't have to hit anywhere.

    Isn't it amazing though, in such a short period of time it became so strong in the warm gulf waters.

    I believe New Orleans is below sea level. Yikes for them. They better "hunker" down.

    It's winds are 175mph. It's going to be a very bad one. I hope everyone gets out like they're being instructed to do. Alabama is also being evacuated from the beaches.
