I know that cats blow up like a balloon when they're peeved, but do they also inflate when they're just playin?

Hello!!! I have seen our cats puff when they are startled(esp their tails!!). Another reason they puff out is to show that they are BIG if they are threatened. I have seen cats do that when threatened by a dog. If the dog is smart, they will leave!! Hope that helps!! Sandra
