    Outlet store math

Woohoo! I spent some money again today. Only this time I've REALLY got to brag!

Went to the Lee outlet this afternoon. The following items are what I bought - you guess how much I paid!

    For ME:
    (1) GORGEOUS pair of tailored gunmetal grey slacks
    (3) pairs of casual khakis (two in tan, one in black -- look out cat hair here I come in black pants!)

    For hubby:
    (2) pairs of jeans
    (6) pairs of khakis for work... they weren't the super casual ones. They were tailored with the wrinkle proofing and stain proofing stuff.

    Total:
    12 (TWELVE!!!) pairs of pants.

How much do you think I spent??

$120 is WAAAYYY too much money.

The outlet is the Vanity Fair Outlet here in Reading. Actually, its so cclose that often my driveway is closer to park than the parking lots.

    $40-$50?

I don't know you well enough to know how much you would NOT spend... sorry.

I wish we had outlets here. We probably do somewhere in Louisville, but it could be as much as a 1 hour drive just to the other end of town. I love going to Gatlinburg and similar vacation cities JUST for the outlet malls. I love sales and great bargains.

I was going to guess around $120.00 also, but then you said it was a Vanity Fair Outlet. Don't you just love them. There is one near my father's house, and their prices are incredible. I have gotten shirts there for $4.00 each. I love that place. So I, going to guess about $80.00?

LOL... forgot about the guessing game!

Ginger's Mom wins to guess! She was right to the penny!

Now, I don't feel so excited thinking I could have gotten everything for $30-$50!

The polo shirts I ordered from JCPenney's online outlet came today too... wow they are NICE, and I only paid $14 a piece for them. I'd have happily paid $35 for them if I saw how nice they were in a store.

Yikes... I've been spending too much money this week! But, it is all for work for both hubby and I, so I guess its worth it Ugh... the next step is to hem all twelve pairs of pants. Oh well, for $5 a pair for all mine, I guess I can't complain!

Sure Jen, you can come on down! I could probably skip out of the "office" for a bit. Besides, its been a while since Pouncer hissed at you.

I have trouble with the shirts and tops from Vanity Fair/Lee's Outlets shrinking. To much 100% cotton products there and not enough blended materials.
However, jeans and dress pants no problems with them.
